Manufacturing

Most clients will handle their own manufacturing engineering and only require industry standard documentation from me during and at the conclusion of my work. However, I have found that a lot of smaller firms benefit from some guidance on how to make a smooth transition from prototypes to a production unit.

The final cost of a product is largely determined and "designed in" very early on. Knowing how much things cost, both in part and process costs and where real saving can be had is something I bring to the table. Having worked with many service providers and OEMs, I can give advice on where to go for production and make sure that the necessary documentation is in place.
